Every year we celebrate our successes and ask for ideas of how we can improve for the coming year. This years event will take place at the club on Saturday September 16th at 11.30.
The past year was a great success and we’re looking to build on that in 2018. All members and participants are encouraged to attend if you want to have a say in the strategic direction of the club over the next few years.
The club has had a massive success in the last twelve months with a large amount of growth in children joining the club together with intiatives for older people and we’d like to hear your ideas of how we can continue to grow.
We have a vision of having 1,000 annual participants by 2020 and one of the topics for the day is to sign off the development strategy to extend past the 2021 Rugby League World Cup to 2022 and beyond.
We’ll circulate details of the exact agenda and timings of the day nearer to the date but if you would like to suggest anything for discussion, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the club.
The day also includes the AGM for the club and there are a number of positions available on the board of directors.
If you would like to stand for a position on the board of directors, then please let me know as soon as possible. There are a total of seven places available on the board of directors, with the Treasurer, Secretary and Chairman selected by those people who are successful in being voted onto the board. We have board meetings every three months where we discuss strategic items and we would welcome new additions to the board to assist us to continue to move forward.
