12 Primary School teams from across Manchester descended on MMU’s Platt Lane Complex for an afternoon of Tag Rugby yesterday.
Over 50 Children aged between six and ten years old competed in a series of games in the indoor sports dome, which is also used by Mancunians as their winter training venue.
The Festival is the first in a series of festivals that will take place over the next three months and will introduce more than 100 children to rugby league for the first time.
Teams played 5 games each in a round robin format with the next leg of the series taking place in two weeks time.
