Mini Mancunians to Return

Our successful Sunday morning ‘Mini Mancunians’ Rugby sessions will begin again in late April at the Hough End Centre in South Manchester. We are expecting an increase in numbers this year as we will be coaching in primary schools in South Manchester.

Mancunians are also coaching in other areas of Manchester and as the summer progresses, we will be hosting festivals at each of our satellite centres so that the youngsters can get a taste of playing Rugby League against other teams.

We are also planning a couple of trips to professional Rugby League clubs over the next few months and we hope that the children who join us this year will get the chance to meet some professional rugby players.

The Sunday morning sessions are for kids of all abilities and who are older than 6 years old and have an emphasis on having fun and learning new skills. These sessions will last for a couple of hours and will have an emphasis on having FUN, Running, Evasion, Scoring Try’s and playing with friends.

We have a child centred approach which is based on Primary Rugby League and we know that a positive experience of sport at an early age can create a sporting habit for life. We encourage every child to play in every position on the field and our small sided version of rugby means that they are all involved at all times.

Sessions will begin at 10:30 and last ’till 12:00 and will cost £4.00 or you can purchase your membership here.
