Mancunians are running FREE sport activities in Moss Side and Hulme this Half Term.
Young people can come to try Dodgeball, Handball and Rugby free of charge from Tuesday-Friday and the sessions are open to all young people aged 10-15, regardless of ability.
Sessions will run from 11:30 to 3:00 every day and on the last day of the project, all the young people who take part will come together to play in a sports festival at Mancunians’ Hough End community facility and compete against each other.
The sessions will be taken by fully qualified sports coaches who are DBS (CRB) registered and all sessions are aimed at having fun and learning new skills.
To attend the sessions, all you need to do is to turn up to either Moss Side Powerhouse, on Raby St, off Moss Lane or Procter’s Youth Centre, Hulme St, Hulme at 11:30 on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The sessions are FREE of charge, so all you’ll need to bring is a drink, some small change to buy a snack during the day or some food items to snack on.
The sessions are provided by Mancunians in partnership with Greater Manchester Police, Manchester City Council, Hideaway Youth Project and Manchester Young Lives.
