Manchester's Dual Code Rugby Club

RECRUITMENT DRIVE: Mancunians RL welcoming new players

Mancunians RL are recruiting players for our Mens Adult and U15s Rugby League teams.

As the amateur Rugby League season begins its final stage, we’re looking to recruit players to help us through our final 5 games in the North West Mens Division 4 League.

We’ll then continue the hard work over the winter break and start 2015 with Rugby League in a better position than ever before in Manchester.

Mancunians RL beat Manchester Rangers 40-14 in the second competitive match between the two sides.

Mancunians RL beat Manchester Rangers 40-14 in the second competitive match between the two sides earlier this month.

If you have a little rugby experience or have played either code for years or know someone looking to get into or back into the game of Rugby League, Mancunians RL is open to anyone willing to help us in our mission to expand Rugby League in Manchester.

We are now in our sixth year and have gone from strength to strength each season opening our first two youth sides this year. But as with many amateur Rugby League teams, we’re holding a second recruitment push towards the end of the season, to keep us playing at our best and bringing our sport to more people in Manchester.

Adult Training takes place Thursdays 7-8,30pm  at the Hough End Centre, Mauldeth Road West, M21 7SX.

U15s training takes place Thursday 6,30-8pm at the same location.

We also hold Sunday morning kids sessions for boys and girls all abilities older than 6 years. These sessions have an emphasis on having fun and learning new skills.

Just turn up to the appropriate session or contact us at mancunianrugbyleague@gmail.com for more information.
